Physical education teacher candidates demonstrate dispositions essential to becoming effective professionals. Artifact: Mini Conference Attendance Date: October 2011 Reflection: This mini conference was a tremendous experience. This was my second conference I ever attended here at SUNY Cortland and one of the best. One of the workshops that I went to, dealt with teaching parkour and how to conduct a safety environment and lesson. This work shop was taught by Ryan Walker, a student here at SUNY Cortland. attending these mini conferences truly develop one’s professionalism and give you many opportunities to develop into a better teacher. There are always new things and strategies being developed each year so attending these conferences keep you up to date as well as continue to strengthen your teaching rapture.
