Planning and Instruction
Physical education teacher candidates plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences aligned with local state, and national standards to address the diverse needs of all students. Element 3.5: Plan and adapt instruction for diverse needs, adding specific accommodations and/ or modifications for student exceptionalities. Artifact: PED 356 IEP Date: Spring 2012 Reflection: This Individual Education Program was done for my PED 356 class. We were assigned a student with special needs and were given 10 weeks with them. It was an unforgettable experience as you got to see each individual grow and progress at their own rate. This IEP was based off of the TGMD2and included IEP recommendations at the end of the assessment. This artifact shows my ability to assess a present level of performance and plan and implement strategies and objectives to further progress of the student.
