Impact on Student Learning
Physical Education teacher candidates utilize assessments and reflection to foster student learning and inform instructional decisions. Element 5.1: Select or create appropriate assessments that will measure student achievement of goals and objectives. Artifact: PED 434 Work Sample Date: Spring 2011 Reflection: This work sample was produced by me and two of my fellow colleagues. We were given the task to assess our peers based on a fitness circuit unit. We did a pre and a post assessment which included affective, cognitive and psycho-motor assessments. We also utilized peer assessing during this experience. This work sample was a great way to have information about your students and your class as a whole. It also gives you information and knowledge such as progress and most of all hard evidence.
